Our Mission

By rewriting the age-bounded social narrative in the classroom setting, the Intergenerational Classroom aims to foster an age-inclusive environment and forge a path that benefits both current and future generations.

In the Media

In response to our innovative and inclusive approach to learning, numerous media stories captured moments and experiences from the first iteration of the Intergenerational Classroom.

Classroom Experiences

“I developed a much stronger understanding of the challenges faced by Canada’s rapidly aging population and the importance of preventative care. The intergenerational format was an excellent way to hear firsthand the perspectives of individuals who have faced some of these barriers."
